My latest endeavor is creating 3D landscapes from 2D photographs. 3D technology has captured a lot of attention of late; from stereograms, to Magic Eye 3D puzzles, 3D movies, 3D video games, 3DBlueRay video and 3DTV. So, I joined in on the fun by adding an extra dimension to my photographs by playing with 3D Anaglyph (Red-Cyan) methodology.

My goal is to surprise the viewer by adding another twist to the 3D mix as well as have the photos look interesting in 2D and in 3D.

The subject matter is strangely interesting because it starts out as an overlooked still image, and when you look closer, there are these extra dimensions a mix with ideas, emotions and colors. Put on some (Red-Cyan) 3D glasses to see this example, the Christmas Tree Farm, the trees seem to repeat themselves, I added to that idea by copy and pasting more trees into a 3D space.

I took a different approach with the Building Under Construction 3D, I took two photos, at different angles, added red and cyan. Buildings happen in layers, so does the creation of the image. Next, I created another way to see this without 3D glasses, Autostereography. This method asks the viewer to do some eye muscle exercise. Hold still. Stare at the two white dots at the top of the image, then, almost cross your eyes until the dots blend into one and a 3D image seems to appear in between the two images! Click on the 3D photographs button for more 3D images which I present for your viewing pleasure. Thanks.
