AWARD win­ning graph­ic de­sign­er, Bill Billec is also a paint­er, and a pho­to­graph­er, with over 20 years of ex­per­i­ence in in mul­ti­me­dia and print design. He has a BFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.

Bill has cre­ated logo and brand­ing design, news­let­ters, book cov­ers, web site graph­ics, bro­chures, and slide present­a­tions. He is a highly skilled, in­vent­ive, team play­er ac­cus­tomed to per­form­ing in fast paced en­vir­on­ments. He can visu­ally trans­late cli­ent needs in­to great design solu­tions.

In 1988, Bill took a po­s­i­tion with NYC Tech­nic­al Col­lege as a Col­lege Lab Tech­ni­cian for the Art and Ad­vert­ising De­part­ment. He man­aged the vari­ous art labs: Fig­ure Draw­ing, Photo, Art Gal­lery, Video and Com­puter graph­ics. He helped the de­part­ment re­ceive grants, de­veloped cur­riculum and taught two courses.

In 1993, Bill po­si­tioned with Nex­t­wave Pro­duc­tions in NYC as a Di­git­al Mu­ti­me­dia Artist. He cre­ated elec­tron­ic and 35mm slide present­a­tions for such cli­ents as Bristol Myers Squibb, Chase, DC Comics, Master Card, Novartis, Parke Davis, Pfizer, Revlon, Roche, Scholastic, WCBS Radio. He attend national and international pharmaceutical on-site meetings to manage electronic presentations.

In 1998, Bill be­came a graph­ic de­sign­er (and later, a Seni­or Graph­ic De­sign­er) for Pro­jects In Know­ledge, in Little Falls NJ. He de­signed and col­lab­or­ated with sales and pro­duc­tion teams on vari­ous con­tinu­ing med­ic­al edu­ca­tion pro­grams for clini­cians. He cre­ated pro­gram brand­ing, that in­cluded logos, meet­ing in­vit­a­tions, syl­labi, mono­graphs, videos, web sites, pack­age designs, trade show graph­ics and posters. He man­aged de­part­ment op­er­a­tion­als, quote/bid, and staff­ing. He pre­pared art for comps, files for print pro­duc­tion and web sites. Cli­ents: Bristol Myers Squibb, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, Lilly, Or­tho Bi­otech, Scher­ing-Plough. Awards: 2001 and 2003 Glob­al Awards Fi­nal­ist, 2001 and 2007 Rx Club Design Award of Ex­cel­lence, 2000 and 2001 New York Fest­ivals Fi­nal­ist Award.

As a painter and photographer, Bill's work has ap­peared in vari­ous lit­er­ary magazines and book cov­ers and has been ex­hib­ited at the Grace Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, Ralyn Art Center, NJ, Pierro Gallery South Orange, NJ and Montclair State University Gal­lery, NJ.
